Cam One Privacy Policy

Introduction
Cam One (we, us, our) complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Personal information refers to data about an identifiable individual (a natural person). This policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information, including data collected through third-party platform integrations (for example, YouTube and Facebook where used).
No registration
Cam One does not currently require you to create an account or log in to use the App. This means we may not know your name or identity unless you provide it (for example, when you contact support).
What personal information we collect
We may collect:

Overseas storage
Some service providers may store or process information outside New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to ensure information is protected consistent with this policy and the Privacy Act 2020.
Protecting your personal information
We take reasonable steps to safeguard personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, loss, or misuse. Access is limited to those who need it for service delivery and support.
Data retention and deletion
We retain personal information only as long as needed for lawful business purposes (service delivery, security, support, and legal compliance). Some information may be retained for legal, security, or contractual reasons (for example, billing records).
How to request data deletion
Because we do not use login accounts, we may need additional information to locate your data. To request deletion, email hello@camone.app with subject “Data Deletion Request”, and include:

your Google Play order number (if you have a subscription), and

any public stream watch URL(s) you want removed from our internal logs (if applicable), and

approximate dates and times of usage, plus device model and Android version (optional but helpful)
Once verified, we will action the request within a reasonable timeframe and confirm by email. Some data may be retained where required for legal, security, or contractual reasons.
Accessing and correcting your personal information
You can request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. Because we do not have user accounts, we may only be able to provide information we can reasonably link to you, for example via your support email thread or a Google Play order number.
YouTube API compliance and revoking access
Cam One’s use of YouTube API Services is in accordance with YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. You can revoke Cam One’s access at any time via your Google security settings. If you revoke access and also want related data deleted from Cam One, follow the deletion request steps above.
