How to score Cricket
A cricket match is played in innings, with each team batting and bowling in turn.
Runs are scored when batters run between the wickets or hit boundaries (4 runs if the ball reaches the boundary, 6 runs if hit over it).
The batting team continues until all 10 wickets fall, the set number of overs is bowled, or the target score is reached.
The team with the most runs at the end of the match wins.
Match formats vary (Test, ODI, T20), but scoring principles remain the same.
A cricket scoreboard tracks four key things:
1️⃣ Runs scored – total runs for the batting team.
2️⃣ Wickets lost – number of dismissals so far.
3️⃣ Overs bowled – total overs and balls delivered.
4️⃣ Target score – for limited-overs matches when chasing.
Update a live cricket scoreboard using the Cam One app – or connect a second device and make live updates with remote scoring.
