How to score Baseball
A baseball game is played across nine innings (or fewer in some formats).
Runs are scored when a player successfully reaches home plate after rounding all four bases.
The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins.
If the score is tied after nine innings, extra innings are played until there is a winner.
Each inning has two halves: one team bats while the other fields, then they switch roles.
A baseball scoreboard tracks four key things:
1️⃣ Runs scored by each team – updated after players cross home plate.
2️⃣ Inning number – which inning and half are being played.
3️⃣ Outs – how many outs a team has for the current inning.
